Our client, a provider of 3rd Party Logistic Services (3PL Services) to other organisations, sought advice on how to update their current logistics management system to meet the requirements of a government tender. As their current logistics management system was developed more than 20 years ago, and had not been materially updated since, it lacked features expected of modern software systems. Additionally, the Government tender required extensive reporting capability of stock levels and ordering history, not supported by the client’s current system. Thus, we were tasked with providing IT consulting services and bespoke web development services, that would give the client a competitive edge during the tender process and increase the client’s long-term productivity.
